SUMMARY
The Senior manager of Foundry Operations is responsible for the overall Allegro foundry Operations. Responsibilities include sustaining, qualification of identified strategic foundries, working closely with cross-functional teams within the operation organization, Business Unit, Sales to align and execute on the company needs, drive activities across foundry sites with focus on quality, yield, cost, productivity, and on-time delivery to Allegro and its customers. The Senior manager of Foundry Operations is ensuring that suppliers executions are according to Allegro defined requirements and quality systems by implementing technical performance and process reviews, meeting goals and key performance indices, implementing stringent process controls and effective problem-solving techniques. The Senior manager of Foundry Operations will be someone that is a widely recognized expert in the foundries and will act as a technical leader focused on being deeply involved in fine tuning and implementing Low Cost, High Volume, High Reliability and Quality operational expertise across the corporate culture.
The role will report directly to Allegro’s Managing Director in the Philippines.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Main technical interface for foundries in development and production related issues.

Drive, and coordinate process improvements projects with foundries.

Drive, and coordinate FA and RMA activities with foundries.

Ensure stable foundries manufacturing quality due to defined monitoring and review plan.

Collaborate with relevant teams on best-in-class processes and ensure the foundries comply.

Work with key stakeholders on spending budgets (including capital and operational requirements) , help to drive cost reduction initiatives set by the relevant teams to support corporate financial objectives.

Travel as necessary to Allegro sites and foundries sites across the world to ensure the interests of the company are being met.

Participate in quarterly supplier business and technical reviews to promote best operational practices and drive continuous performance improvements.

Drive foundries to deliver products and services per commitment on quality, delivery, cost, ESG, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS

15+ years of experience in high-volume, large scale semiconductor operations (managing offshore foundry operation).

Experience in supporting NPI and mass production, semiconductor device physics.

Demonstrated career progression as shown by positions of increasing manufacturing and operations management responsibilities to senior leadership role.

Engineering and manufacturing management responsibility within a large 24x7 operations

Experience creating, managing, and tracking large department and factory budgets. A strong understanding of financial operations is necessary.

Proven ability to make sound judgments and decisions. Possess the ability to assess problems/situations and provide effective solutions quickly.

Strong organizational and time management skills to balance working on multiple projects in parallel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to use technical language and convey knowledge. Experience presenting to large audiences and executive management is required.

Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively lead and engage a highly specialized teams of engineers and managers along with the natural inclination to take ownership of issues with minimal direction.

Experience dealing with complex employee and supplier issues and ensuring timely resolutions of identified issues.
